Busch was born in New York, NY, and received his B.B.A. from the University of Texas, cum laude, in 1977 and his J.D. in 1980 from Southern Methodist University. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1980 and is admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Texas; the United States Supreme Court; the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas. Until recently, he was one of approximately 25 lawyers in Texas who are Board Certified in both Civil Trial Law and Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
